Trip to Western USA Louisville, KY Desi Indian

Hello,
I am planning to visit west of usa. Please suggest me the itinerary if you have visited there and had a good trip..
like which all places you visited, did you try any trip planner or took any packages, which place to board flight for etc etc...
Any info is really appreciable.

then from chat city i will rent a car and roam for 1 week in that car covering las vegas, los angeles, san diego, grand canyon, san francisco(if possible)..

pls guide me about cheap flight...which city should i take flight from...any website ... hotels suggestions....places to visit in these cities...

I and My wife are going to West Coast.
