Greatly appreciate anyone of you giving us some guidance on how life is for desis in Lousiville.

We have being living in the silicon valley/bay area for over 10 years and are thinking of moving out to the midwest..we have 2 kids (4th & KG)..and are kind of unsure how such a thing will pan out.

Thanks

Shifting to Louisville for a better job is not a good idea those who lived in CA for more than 10 years. Schools are not great.Only rent and gas is cheaper when compared to other few states.

This place sucks... The school system is pathetic, They assign the kids to schools which are 12-13 miles from where ever you live and very few schools have good ratings. Driving is a night mare smoking, texting, talking on phone while driving. Indian groceries rip you off, Indian restaurants charge more in comparison with CA, weather is very unpredictable. Except for rent and gas every thing else is expensive. sales tax is 6%. Overall its not worth it.
